Between them, they provide an exceptional selection of training opportunities for employers and individuals.
Working collaboratively, KATO members share expertise and good practice to ensure they continue to develop and deliver training that meets the requirements of employers and individuals in Kent and Medway.

Associate Membership is available to any organisation that offers relevant and high-quality services or products to training providers operating in Kent and Medway.
Strategic Partner
Membership
Strategic Partner membership is available to any organisation who wishes to work with KATO and its members at a strategic level or in the delivery of services in a non-commercial partnership.

We are all about supporting helping our members grow. We do this by promoting what you do and creating opportunities for you to grow, network and promote yourself.

Network with like minded individuals, funders, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Local Authorities, and national bodies such as the ESFA, DWP and the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education at our network meetings.

Have your best interests represented on Local Authority committees, boards, CIAG groups, the Local Enterprise Partnerships and at AELP meetings. Influence how we operate and what we lobby for by providing feedback on issues and challenges that affect you.

Keep up to date
Receive our monthly newsletter summarising relevant news and opportunities. Hear directly from ESFA, LEPs, Local Authorities and other relevant organisations at our Network Meetings.
Get advice when you need it
Opportunities to question Local Authority, Local Enterprise Partnerships, and funding representatives directly at our network meetings. Speak to one of the KATO committee team for advice, information, or recommendations for specific expert advice
Access to a member’s area
Which shares information, training, events, and other opportunities of interest to members’ and their teams.
Full membership is £475 a year.
Our membership year runs from 1 April – 31st March, and pro-rata rates are available.

Associate membership is available to any organisation that offers relevant and high-quality services or products to training providers operating in Kent and Medway.

- Feature in our latest news and in our monthly email newsletter when you join.
- Appear on our associate members list, our consultant members list or our Strategic Partners members list with a link to your website or email address.
- Gain access to our members area that you can use to promote your business to the other members.
Gather market intelligence and forge relationships
- Attend 4 Network meetings a year with the opportunity for a speaker’s slot
- Raise your profile and showcase your expertise
- Provide relevant news items (rather than sales material) for our monthly newsletter
- Hold expert seminars for our full members.
Associate membership is £375 a year for organisations; £275 a year for consultants.
All applications go to the KATO committee for approval. Your application will be judged based on your ability to enhance the network.
